• Book an early morning flight arrival to allow you some extra leeway in case you experience flight delays into Rome’s airport
• Book a flight with as few layovers as possible to reduce risks of missed connections and lost luggage
• Book your flight with a reputable airline with high on time arrival rates.
• Customize your luggage to make it easy for you to identify them, prevents other passengers from accidentally  picking up your luggage in error.
• Make sure your airline tags your luggage for the correct destination, and keep the stub from your checked luggage with you.
• Prepare for the possibility of luggage by carrying with you in your carryon case your important essentials such as medicine, extra set of undergarments and clothing items so you can continue your cruise if your luggage is lost or delayed past your ship departure time.
