Buon giorno and welcome to Stefano’s RomeCabs, Rome’s leading company for Day Tours from Rome and Shore Excursions from Italy’s top cruise ports.

We offer many Day Tours and Shore Excursions to Rome that include a visit to the Vatican (Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s Basilica).
Many of travelers in Rome are not aware that the Vatican enforces a modesty dress code when visiting St Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel – both significant and sacred places.
NOTE: The Vatican Museums do NOT have a dress code.
However, if you plan to ALSO visit the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica while you are also visiting the Museums, please be sure to arrive prepared.

You can prepare in advance and bring a few extra items with you in case your sightseeing takes you to a beautiful church that requires a modesty dress code

MEN and BOYS:
Convertible pants with a simple zipper can turn long pants into shorts. Simply zip back the bottom leg to your shorts to visit churches.
If you are planning to wear a Tank Top, bring a light T-shirt with you in your day bag that you can quickly put on over your Tank Top to visit churches.

WOMEN and GIRLS
Bring with you in your day bag some light summer scarves that can double as a shawl to cover your shoulders, and a sarong to cover your legs.

Summer evenings can be chilly in Italy, so having an extra T-Shirt and scarves to cover your shoulders can also keep you a bit warm so you can enjoy your day into the evening exploring the cities in Italy, and enjoy a nice dinner at an outside table (a MUST in Italy during the summer!)
