2 How far in advance should I book my Civitavecchia Transfer?

To be safe, we suggest allowing plenty of time for travel to and from the Cruise Port in case of unforeseen traffic delays that are notorious in and around Rome during rush hour or accidents on the road that block traffic.

4 What is the recommended pick up time from Rome hotel to Civitavecchia Port?

If your ship departs Civitavecchia at or around 5 PM as most ships do, the recommended pick up time from Rome between 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

By scheduling your pick up too early in the morning (before 10 AM the earliest) you may arrive at the Port before your ship is ready to embark, you may have to wait on the pier, and the pier is not a comfortable place to wait.

By scheduling your pick up too late (after 1:30 PM), you risk arriving too late to your ship if you encounter any unforeseen delays and miss your cruise.

5  What is the recommended Pick Up Time from Civitavecchia to Rome hotel?

Most of our cruising clients going to a hotel in Rome at the end of their cruise are disembarked between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM.

Cruisers with early disembarkation pass, or late disembarkation pass can schedule their pick up accordingly.

If you are not sure when your disembarkation time is, contact your cruise ship for information as many cruise ships differ in their disembarkation process.

6  Can your driver enter the port and provide pier-side pick up and drop off?
